Rishona Myers, President and Senior Event Planner of RM Creative Events Management, Inc., has over ten years of experience working in the events industry. Prior to starting her company, she spent four years as a Special Projects Coordinator for Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia, a Chapter of the larger national organization Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America. While at Hadassah, Rishona worked with hundreds of volunteer women from around the Philadelphia area. The functions she worked annually included two chapter-wide fund-raisers, an education event, an advocacy event, and bus trip. She also helped coordinate local members' attendance at the annual Hadassah National Convention.
Before working at Hadassah, Rishona spent five years working at a small company in Radnor, Pennsylvania, which provided educational speakers to high schools and colleges. She coordinated marketing for the company and assisted in creating a non-profit organizational arm for the company. In her final year, she coordinated a one-day educational conference which brought in educators and administrators from educational institutions around the country to hear the company’s speakers and learn more about services the company provided.
Rishona holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law and an Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member in good standing of International Special Events Society, Greater Philadelphia Chapter; The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, the Bucks County Conference and Vistors Bureau and eWomenNetwork.
When Rishona is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and daughter Amanda, their two cats, greyhound and family. She also enjoys cooking, reading, participating in a monthly book club and scrapbooking.
