  1. Determine your needs and goals.  
  2. Design your event to specifically reach your goals.
  3. Set a realistic budget.
  4. Choose a date that works best for you, your key staff and guests. 
  5. Find a suitable venue and menu.
  6. Invite the right people.  
  7. Create an engaging theme. 
  8. Design your invitation. 
  9. Engage the right entertainment or speaker.
  10. Know that you do not have to do all of this by yourself.
